Hardscape and Landscape Team Lead

This is an entry level management position for the right candidate! We are always looking for people with a positive attitude and growth mindset to join our Team as a Team Leader.

Pay rate: $19-$36 hourly, depending on the position you are applying for and your experience

About the Job:

• Landscape/Hardscape Team Members: You will be on a crew of 2-3, responsible for paver patios, retaining walls, firepits, planting, trimming, cleanups, mulching, edging, blowing, grading work, and seeding.

What your day will look like:

• During the regular season (March through December) our hours are typically 7am to 5:30pm Monday through Friday.
• You may be driving a company truck during work time, so you must have a valid driver’s license.
• You will fill out your time tracking accurately for each location you are working.
• Some mornings, you will load the equipment and materials that you will need to complete your projects for the day.
• Each evening, you will perform basic cleaning and maintenance on your tools and stock up on supplies for the next morning.
• When you see a customer onsite, you will check in with them to ensure they are satisfied.
• You will have regular check-ins with the Operations Manager to report on progress.
• You will also work on landscape installations and/or hardscape installations.
• You will ensure customer satisfaction through professional workmanship and communication.

Experience:

We are flexible on the number of years of experience for this role! We favor talent and interest. Even if you did not finish high school, please apply anyway: there is a good chance you are more wonderful than you think you are. The only must-have requirements to be a Landscape Team Member are:

• You are 18 years of age or older.
• You have a valid Driver’s License.
• You can commute to work daily

Nice-to-have’s: If you have experience with the skills below, that is a plus!

• Experience managing or supervising others on the job.
• Experience working in the outdoors.
• Experience pruning, installing plants and/or installing outdoor living features.
• Experience pulling a trailer.
• Experience with basic lawn equipment, and/or maintenance and repair of equipment.
